Ok, this post is gonna be about self-treatment items that I use.
L'Oréal Nutri-Gloss (light) Shine Shampoo
I like my silky black hair and I don't have dandruffs. Ok, it's not really black as pitch black due to the sun exposure. But compare to my friends' hair, mine is black, healthy and naturally silky and I got compliments about my hair from my friends.
The secret is not hairdressers, no. I seldom go there, i only go once per semester for a haircut and hairspa and that's it! I think I should be grateful to my shampoo and conditioner:
My hair is actually dry and it gets oily at the 3rd day. I rinse my hair once every 2-3 days and apply the conditioner every twice I rinse my hair. So it means that I don't use the conditioner everytime I rinse my hair. Otherwise, my hair gets really oily and it's not comfy to have oily hair on tropical weather here.
Unless you live in Europe or anywhere the weather is dry like in Germany. When I lived there, I rinse my hair every 3-4 days, waiting for my hair to be oily first (because my hair was super dry, super dehydrated!) and I always apply conditioner after rinsing my hair.
After I'm done rinsing and conditioning, I ONLY use towel to absorb excessive water from my hair and let it dry out naturally. NO, I don't use hairdryers or the iron thingy, it will only make my hair super dry and unhealthy.
And voilà! My hair becomes voluminous, healthy and silky! I highly recommend for those who wants to have silky shiny hair. Hehe. It's considered as expensive but consider the quality and the shampoo bottle is big enough! The bottle contains 375ml whereas the conditioner contains 180ml. It's enough for 3-3.5 months. I buy it once every 3 months. When it's almost finished, I pour in some water inside the bottle and shake it. And then use it. Hehe.
You don't need to put a lot of shampoo to rinse! Here are the steps:
1. Rinse your hair with water water until it gets really wet.
2. Pour the shampoo on your hand of the size of the quarter of your hand palm and then put on your hair then rinse it. Do it 2x or 3x until you feel your hair is soft enough.
3. Then throw out excessive water from your hair to apply conditioner.
4. Pour some conditioner of the size of a quarter of your palm then wipe it all over your palm then wipe both of your palm to mid of your hair to the end NOT your scalp. Because the scalp gets oily easily until the mid of your hair. That's why it's easy to get dandruffs.
5. When you've applied conditioner on your hair, let it be and wash your body.
6. When you're done washing your body, rinse everything with water, never use hot water but use warm water. Hot water will only dry your hair.
If I have an important event such as presentation, parties, etc.. I always rinse my hair at D-1 and let it dry out naturally and at D day in the morning, I tie my hair so it won't be messy and just before the event, I untie my hair. And ta-da! Just like as if I just came out from a hair salon! Hihihi..
Oh by the way, I almost never brush my hair using a hair brush or comb. I only brush my hair using my fingers. Hehe.. Because if I use a brush or comb, my hair falls a LOT.. I admit this shampoo and conditioner won't solve the hair-fall problem.
I should use a hair-tonic to solve this problem but I'm too lazy. I'll put it on my wishlist so whenever I reeealllyyyy need it, I'll buy it.
There's my review. I hope it's helpful enough for those who wants to have silky shiny hair. Hehe.
