Sunday, December 16, 2007
Hai, my first time giving a review about drama! Dozou, please have a look and feel free to leave a comment, ne?
Nodame Cantabile live-action J-dorama is based on the manga Nodame Cantabile made by Tomoko Ninomiya. There is also the anime version.
The live-action drama has 11 episodes only, compared to the manga and the anime, it's the shortest.

Synopsis
The main characters are Chiaki Shinichi [played by Tamaki Hiroshi] and Noda Megumi [played by Ueno Juri].
Chiaki Shinichi is the top student of the 4th year in the Piano Division in Music Academy. He have always dreamt of being a Conductor of an orchestra. But he has one weakness: He's afraid of aeroplanes and ship because he has experienced it before, that's why he prefered being stuck in Japan. Chiaki has always been perfectionist, discipline and strict. That's why whenever he plays the piano, although he plays all accurately according to the score, he never feel satisfy of his play.
Until he met Noda Megumi (Nodame) "accidentally" in her room, which is Chiaki's neighbor. Nodame is Chiaki's kouhai, she's in the 3rd year of the Piano Division. The way she plays the piano is sloppy but she gave her feeling to it. That attracts Chiaki. But Nodame is really childish and messy.
Will Chiaki achieve his dream? Will he continue his life by being a pianist in Japan, a conductor of Oke (orchestra) in Japan or Europe?

Watch this drama full of comedies and music, I'm sure you will enjoy watching this drama, you music lovers.

I have watched until episode 10 and so far I don't feel bored in watching it nor feel regret for having watched it. The actors are mostly kakkoi (cool) and the actresses are kirei (pretty) that's one of the reasons why I don't get bored. ^^"

The story plot is very original unlike the sinetrons that I have watched, no over-dramatization and very original. Hopefully soon, sinetrons won't just copy and create great stories and movies that can go world-wide. Ganbatte kudasai Indonesian Movies!

La Corda d'Oro 2 game in PS2...

Saturday, December 15, 2007

This game is out since March 15, 2007. It's a sequel to La Corda d'Oro the anime version. And it's a simulation game. There is a new bishounen character called Kaji Aoi, he transfered to Seiso Academy because he heard Kahoko playing the violin, he then becomes interested in Kahoko. He transfered to the Gen-Ed and he plays viola but he's not talented in playing it. But he has a good ear and understand how to judge someone's playing only by listening.

Since it's a simulation game, you can choose the ending by playing it.
I haven't played it because I don't have a PS2 nor the game... So if anyone who has played it, please feel free to leave a comment, ne.

Here is the trailer of the game...

La Corda d'Oro

Tuesday, December 04, 2007
Hi guys, time to spend time adding a new post in my blog... Hehehe...

Last night Monica asked me to pass her some missing episodes of La Corda d'Oro ~Primo Passo~.
What is that? Now, this is my first time posting a review concerning anime..

La Corda d'Oro
It’s a TV episode anime based on the manga and itself is related to the simulation video game called Kiniro no Koruda (La Corda d'Oro). The author is Yuki Kure.

The Synopsis
The Seisou Academy has two main departments: the Music Department is for the elite students who are talented in playing musical instruments and the General Department for normal students. The General Department is where Kahoko Hino, our heroine goes everyday.
One day, Kahoko accidentally bumped to fata (music fairy) Lili.
For so long, Kahoko is the first human being who is able to see Lili. Since then Lili decided to let Kahoko participate the Music Competition (concours) held by the Seisou Academy.
The concours has 4 rounds and each round has a theme.
The participants are:
Yunoki Azuma [flute], Hihara Kazuki [trumpet] (3rd year students from Music Dept)
Tsukimori Len [violin] (2nd year student from Music Dept)
Shimizu Keiichi [cello], Shoko Fuyumi [clarinet] (1st year students from Music Dept)

But the problematic is: Kahoko couldn't play a single instrument. How can she participate the concours? Well, Lili made a magical violin for her; Kahoko can play it unless she has a sound in her mind. But her competitors are very talented and professional, can she beat them?

Here I even put the first episode of the anime La Corda d’Oro ~Primo Passo~. Hopefully you can enjoy it! ^^

Interested? Yep, the boys are mainly bishounen (pretty boys)! Wanna know where to get the anime or manga?

If you want to read online, you can go to this website: http://www.onemanga.com/La_Corda_Doro/
But since it is licensed by Viz Media, there are only 8 chapters which are scanlated. So other ways to get it:
- Lala Magazines (japanese)
- Hana to Yume comics (japanese)
- Viz Shoujo Beat Manga (english/american)
- HanaLala (indonesian)

If you want to download freely the anime, you should first have BitTorrent software then go to this website: http://www.baka-updates.com/ then type "corda" in the search box then click the "emblem" of a Torrent.

Theory of Communications & Media

Monday, December 03, 2007
Guys, this is my first time creating a blog, so don't wonder why the layout is so amateur-like.. Do you know why finally I create this blog? It's an assignment given by my lecturer of the Theory of Communications & Media subject! I have to admit it's an incredibly daring assignment.
Before creating this blog, we had have created the cover of a magazine, and here's the result:
Duh.. The time given to do this work was limited: The statements are actually extracted from the song "The Garden of Everything" sung by Maaya Sakamoto, which is an OST of RahXephon Movie 2. I really love that song and if you read the lyric, the words are sooo poetic! I really recommend you to listen to the song!
